One Person Really Can Make A Difference

Fashion for the New Millennium is a project fully supported by Wild By Nature, Inc., our environmental education nonprofit 501(c)3 since 1994. Our logo is of a little field mouse gnawing at the net to set free the powerful lion. We are that mouse; each one of us doing our part to make things better. We are small, but we are mighty!

It is fashionable to work for the greater good of the human community. Be a trend setter and lighten your carbon footprint. Here are two videos that show ordinary people doing simple things that make a profound difference.

Surely you can add just one good habit or eliminate just one bad habit. You make a difference, so pick one thing that you can dedicate yourself to without distraction. Small is just fine because It All Adds Up (see April 2015 post). Population X (world population) is nearing 7 billion. If each of us do just one thing, it will change the world.

I have dedicated myself to salvaging balloon pieces and their string. What goes up, must come down. And, when it comes down in the forest or out to sea, wildlife will pay the price. Below are remnants of burst balloons, all released with good intentions. These photos were taken June 2015, but the balloons were found in the 1990’s and seem to be resistant to deterioration.
