Prom Season! and the High Cost of New Clothes
This site is dedicated to helping us reset our Zero Carbon Footprint
I cannot think of a better way to exit high school than showing up at the prom looking FABULOUS and knowing that it was put together with skill, creativity, and a keen eye for a bargain.
Adding to the growing list of OUTSTANDING places to get your prom outfit is my latest favorite for women at Cinderella’s Attic. The team of women work hard to assist each high school girl with a beautiful prom dress and all matching accessories, including shoes! This is 100% volunteer at no cost to the girls. I was stunned at the quality, variety, and style of the hundreds (thousands?) of dresses. This is what I found!
It doesn’t matter whether the secondhand clothes are new and never worn, or if they’re designer classics, vintage, retro, antique ~ the point is that you personally did not add to the environmental destruction nor human rights issues facing haute couture today.
